Onesty — sometimes written as Onesty Publish or Onesty Publishing — is a free, open publishing platform built on one core principle: transparency about what we are, and what we are not. Anyone can submit — no account, no fees — and every approved article receives a unique internal review code issued by a named editor. Beyond that, articles can earn additional trust through community peer review. Built and maintained by Ruswanda Clarck, hosted in Germany.
What Onesty Is — and Is Not
Onesty exists as an open, accessible space for publishing ideas, research, and professional writing. We believe in being upfront about our role rather than letting assumptions form on their own.
Onesty is not affiliated with, registered by, or equivalent to Scopus, Web of Science, CrossRef, or any academic indexing or citation database. We do not claim to be more valid, more rigorous, or more credible than these systems. We are also not attempting to compete with them or rank ourselves against their standards. Every mechanism described on this page — review codes, account verification, peer review, and badges — is internal to Onesty alone.
Each Onesty publication carries a unique code, similar in appearance to a DOI. This code does not mean the article meets any external academic standard. It means one specific thing: the article was personally reviewed and approved by a named member of the Onesty editorial team. That is the full extent of what the code represents — an internal mark of accountability, not a universal certification.
We do not participate in debates over "which platform is more credible." Different publishing systems serve different purposes, audiences, and standards. Onesty's purpose is to offer an open, neutral, and transparently human-and-community-reviewed space — readers are encouraged to evaluate any source, including ours, on its own merits.
Meet the Editorial Team
Every review code is issued by a named, accountable person — not an automated system. Our Founder & Lead Editor and section editors each personally review submissions in their area of expertise before a review code is ever generated.
Two Separate Thresholds: Verified Accounts & Reviewer Eligibility
Onesty uses two different "10 article" thresholds for two different purposes. They are easy to confuse, so here is the distinction made explicit.
Once an author's total approved publications — across any category or mix of categories — exceeds 10, their account is marked Verified. This appears as a badge next to their name across the platform and signals consistent, approved output.
To rate another article as Valid or Tidak Valid, an author needs 10 or more approved articles specifically within that article's category. Being a Verified Author does not automatically grant reviewing rights — eligibility is checked per category, separately.
In short: Verified reflects an author's overall track record on Onesty. Reviewer eligibility reflects specific, demonstrated depth in one field. An author can be Verified while still being unable to review articles in a category they have not yet published 10 times in.
Every Article Carries a Review Code
Each article that clears our editorial process is assigned a unique publication identifier — what we call a review code. As stated above, this is an internal standard, not an academic one. It exists so that anyone can trace a publication back to a specific, reviewed entry in Onesty's records, with a named person accountable for the approval.

From Submission to Reviewed Publication
The review code is not generated at submission — it is only issued after an article is personally approved by a named editor, which is what gives it meaning as an accountability signal, not an automated stamp.
Submission enters review queue
No code exists yet. The article is screened by an automated content checker, then read in full by a member of the editorial team.
Editorial approval triggers code generation
Only upon personal approval does the system generate a unique code in the format CATEGORY-DDMMYYYY-RANDOM. This code is permanently bound to that article in Onesty's database.
Code becomes the article's permanent record
It appears on the article page and can be looked up at any time on the verification page — a transparent trail of who approved what, and when.

No login required. Paste the code into the verification tool and instantly see the title, author, category, and publish date — confirming it passed our internal review.
Articles Can Earn Trust Through Peer Review
Beyond the editorial review code, Onesty has a second, independent layer: peer review by experienced authors. This is what makes Onesty more than a publish-and-forget archive — it creates ongoing interaction between researchers and publishers, where additional credibility is earned over time through community judgment, not granted by us alone.
This badge system is entirely internal to Onesty. It is not affiliated with, recognized by, or equivalent to any academic peer-review process, journal impact factor, or citation index used by Scopus, Web of Science, or similar bodies. A badge reflects how Onesty's own community of experienced contributors has evaluated an article — nothing more, nothing less.
One professional, one verdict, per article — ever. A qualified reviewer may submit only a single Valid or Tidak Valid verdict for any given article. Once submitted, that verdict is final for that reviewer on that article; it cannot be resubmitted, changed to farm additional points, or repeated under a different session. This keeps every badge score representing genuinely distinct, independent opinions from different qualified professionals — never repeated input from the same person.
What Authors Get
Every author starts as a publisher. Once an author has 10 or more approved publications within one specific category (for example, HR Strategy), they unlock the ability to peer-review other authors' work within that same category. This privilege is category-specific — qualifying in HR Strategy does not qualify an author to review Technology or Mental Health articles. Each category must be earned separately, so the more categories an author has mastered, the broader their reviewing reach becomes.
What Readers Get
Readers gain a visible, at-a-glance trust signal. An article carrying a high badge has been independently read and marked "Valid" by multiple experienced authors in that field — not just approved once by our editorial team. The more qualified reviewers agree an article is valid, the stronger its badge becomes, giving readers a clearer sense of how practitioners in that field regard the work.
How Reviewing Works
Qualify by publishing
Reach 10 approved (review-code-issued) articles in one category to become eligible to review other articles in that same category.
Submit your email to review
No login or password is required. On any article, click "Beri Nilai" and enter your email. The system checks your category-specific qualification in real time.
Mark it Valid or Tidak Valid — once
This is not a star rating. It is a single, binary judgment: does this article meet a reasonable standard in your field, or not. Each qualified professional may review a given article only one time, permanently, and authors cannot review their own work.
Points accumulate, badges appear
Each "Valid" verdict from a qualified reviewer adds 10 points to the article. A "Tidak Valid" verdict adds nothing and subtracts nothing — it simply withholds the point. Articles without enough Valid verdicts carry a review code but no badge.
Badge Tiers
Badges appear once an article crosses 100 points, and continue climbing as more qualified reviewers mark it Valid.
As stated above, none of this implies Onesty competes with or claims equivalence to academic peer review systems. It is a transparent, internal mechanism for surfacing which articles experienced contributors in our own community have found credible — a different kind of signal, evaluated on its own terms, alongside (not instead of) a reader's own judgment.

An automated checker screens for category fit and content quality, then a named member of the editorial team personally reads every submission within 24 to 48 hours.
Review code issued & published
Approved articles receive a unique code and go live with full SEO metadata and structured data, so search engines and AI systems can find them.
Open to peer review & badge growth
Once published, qualified authors in the same category may begin reviewing it — each one exactly once. Over time it can accumulate points and earn a community badge.
